Peggy Jackson West, calling North Carolina’s Outer
Banks “Home” since the day before Thanksgiving in
1976, tells everyone “I’m very thankful to be an
OBX Local!”
A Salisbury, Maryland native, Peggy and her two young children,
moved to Kill Devil Hills upon hearing her Mother, Dorothy Tilghman
Neighbors, rave about the Outer Banks. Dorothy relocated here from
Ocean City, Maryland in 1972.
Dorothy established the Kitty Dunes Rental Department in
1972 before becoming an active Real Estate Broker in the Kitty
Dunes Sales Department for many years until she retired in 2000.
Peggy followed in Dorothy’s footsteps acquiring her
Salesman’s License in 1979 and her Broker’s License
in 1981.
Working first in Property Management, her Rental Department
Experience includes the positions of Reservationists, Property
Procurement and Rental Manager.
Ultimately entering the Sales Brokerage side of Real Estate
she has held the positions of Salesperson, Sales Manager and Broker-in-Charge.
Finding Sales to be her passion, Peggy’s Real Estate
Sales Experiences have involved Listing and Selling properties
from Corolla to Waves, from the Beach to the Currituck Mainland,
as well as on Roanoke Island and inland. Peggy’s Personal
Creed and Promise to her Buying and Selling Clients is always, “North,
South, East, West, I’ll Find The Property That Suits You
Best!”
Although Peggy predominately represents Buyers and Sellers
interested in Undeveloped Land and Lots, Resort Investment and
Income Producing Properties as well as Residential Homes, she also
enjoys “Stepping Out of the Box”.
She has enjoyed successfully Listing and Selling various
other categories of properties including Commercial Properties
such as Drive-Thru Convenience Stores & Gas Stations, Restaurants
and Currituck Farm Acreage.
